AZIZ (APS) 1876 stallion Chestnut with blaze and 4 tall stockings No photo is known to exist of this Aziz. Deceased in 1899 EGYPT*144 Breeder: ALI PASHA SHARIF The information (except for the date) is from 1932 certified pedigrees for *Bint Bint Durra from the Royal Agricultural Society and *Bint Serra I from the stud of Prince Kamal al-Din. Lady Anne Blunt [J&C, 11.25.1880] on a visit to the stables of Ali Pasha Sharif describes Aziz as about four years of age. In this occasion Lady Anne had been critical in using him as a sire because one of his hocks. In her subsequent visit in Ali Pasha Stud, in 1888, Aziz was twelve years old and Lady Anne found no sign of trouble, nor in any of his produce, though in several the hocks were small. Aziz had "rather long too long head but altogether has enourmously improved, filled out and strenghthened and has very marked type". His pedigree is shown by Lady Anne in a herd book entry for Bint Nura (BLT) as a chestnut Dahman Shahwan stallion bred by Ali Pasha Sharif c1877, by Harkan out of Aziza [MB].
