Deenaa (EAO 609) was bred at the Arabian state stud i.e. the Egyptian Agricultural Organization, (EAO) in Egypt. She was born in 1967, sired by the very well-known stallion, Sameh, and was bred out of the grey Egyptian Arab mare, El Dahma 2(EAO 224). Her sire, Sameh was bred at Inshass Stud of King Farouk, Egypt and he died in 1967. He was at the time of her birth one of the EAO's primary stud stallions. He has sired some of the world’s most distinguished Egyptian-bred Arab horses, which include, Sultann, Fawkia, Ibn Hafiza, and Serenity Sonbolah. Deenaa’s dam descends from the Farida Line, which was also a Root mare at the EAO. Deenaa had an eventful life and traveled a lot. She was sold and exported from Egypt, as a yearling to H J Huebner in Silsbee, Texas, USA but in November 1969 she went to Gleanloch Farms where she was bred to the very well-known stallion, Morafic. She stayed at Gleanloch farms until 12 January 1975 when Mr. Douglas and Mrs. Barbara Griffith of Imperial stud bought her where she only had one filly foal for them. After this, she went back to Texas to Jarrell Mc Cracken and was bred to their stallion Mosry. In December 1977 she was sold to Les and Lois ST Clair of St. Clair Arabians, Wisconsin, where she only produced one filly before her passing in February 2002. It is so sad that this exquisite mare, Deenaa only produced 6 foals in her lifetime and they were; Hanan [sired by Morafic] a gelding, born 1971/03/03 Narimaan [sired by Morafic] a mare, born 1972/03/06 *Ahir [sired by Morafic] a stallion, born 1973/02/09 Imperial Fanniya [sired by Faleh] a mare, born 1975/05/05 AK El Sanaa [sired by Mosry] a mare, born 1977/08/03 Bint Deenaa [sired by Ansata Ibn Halima] a mare born 1979/01/14.
